BIO

Born and raised in Miami Florida, Shari Diamond currently lives and works in New York City. She is a recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts 2008 Fellowship in Photography and two New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries, including PS 122 Gallery, Art Projects International and the Alternative Museum. Interested in the narrative, symbolic and poetic possibilities of imagery, Shari has explored the potential of photographing from unusual points of view, combining multiple images on a single surface in a darkroom and most recently juxtaposing and layering images digitally.
