Women At My Table, 2007

These images were created while I was participating in an online artist project called "Thing A Day." The idea was that during the month of February, participants would spend 30 minutes to1 hour each day making something and share it with one another on a blog.

Inspired by Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party, 1974-1979” I set out to create a portrait a day of a woman. The women I chose were women who had been or were in my life, women I had loved, women I longed or lusted for, women I dreamt about, women who amazed me or who had touched me,

and women who taught me and / or inspired me.
